 Weather & Pitch Report
⛅ Weather:
The weather is going to be hot and sunny in Karachi all day, making way for a warm and clear evening.

🏟️ Pitch:
The wicket is fast and that has made for some high-scoring contests.

 Team NEWS:

 PES Team News:
Tom Kohler-Cadmore hit a half-century after replacing Ravi Bopara last time out. It was a bold decision after Bopara’s half-century in the opening loss, but it was a gamble that paid off for Zalmi who could now be unchanged for this game. Unlike Rashid Khan, Mujeeb Ur Rahman is still at the Pakistan Super League having been overlooked for Afghanistan’s test squad for the series against Zimbabwe.

 QUE Team News:
Chris Gayle has top-scored in both matches so far for Quetta, but his international call-up means the Gladiators will need to make changes at the top of the order. Faf du Plessis is Gayle’s replacement for PSL 2021 clash and he is completing the relevant isolation period.

 PES Key Players:

 Tom Kohler-Cadmore:
The English batsman stepped into the team and made an impact last time out as he hit 53 from 32 balls.

 Shoaib Malik:
Started with 26 from 24 balls and then hit 11* from his five balls last time out. They are starts, however, and his form in this tournament before shows what he can do when the then kicks on.

 Saqib Mahmood:
The England international paceman has taken two wickets in each of the two matches so far.

 QUE Key Players:

 Mohammad Nawaz:
In good bowling form for Pakistan, he then showed some touch with the bat last time out as he hit 33* from 20 balls.

 Mohammad Hasnain:
Took 2-18 in the opening game and, although expensive, was still one of the tidier Quetta bowlers last time out too.

 Sarfaraz Ahmed:
The captain and wicket-keeper-batsman scored 40 from 33 balls last time out and he is a key batsman up the order – particularly now Gayle has gone.

 Team Forms:

 PES Team Form:
Peshawar Zalmi needed a win but earned exactly that last time out, ending their PSL losing streak. After failing to defend a lowly 140/6 in their first game, against Lahore Qalandars, they then hit 197/4 in a brilliant chase last time out. Tom Kohler-Cadmore scored a half-century.

 QUE Team Form:
Quetta Gladiators have lost both games so far. They were bowled out for a dismal 121 as they lost to Karachi Kings in the first game. Things improved with the bat last time out, but their 178/6 – in which Chris Gayle hit 68 – was still too short as they lost to Lahore Qalandars by nine wickets.
